Sitewise is a free, friendly web directory — currently 793 websites sorted by hand into 22 categories. It's a warmer, human take on finding sites online: you browse by topic and turn up pages a search engine would never show you, instead of typing keywords and hoping for the best.
How we review
A person checks every submission before it goes live on Sitewise. We confirm the site is real and reachable, drop it into the right category, and pull a short description from the page itself. Malware, scams and empty doorway pages don't make the cut.
Outbound links carry rel="nofollow" — Sitewise is a directory, not a place to buy ranking. Curating by hand is exactly what keeps it from sliding into link spam.

There's no paid tier and no "priority review" fee. Sitewise grows because real owners add real sites, not because anyone paid to jump the queue.
